Welcome to Falcon Van Hire. By booking or using our van rental services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
 

1. Definitions

• "We", "Us", "Our": Refers to Falcon Van Hire, based in Watford, UK.

• "You", "Customer", "Hirer": Refers to the individual or business renting a vehicle from us.

• "Vehicle": The van or any vehicle provided by Falcon Van Hire.

• "Rental Period": The agreed duration for which the vehicle is rented.
   

2. Eligibility

• Drivers must be aged 21–75 (age limits may vary by vehicle type).

• Drivers must hold a full, valid UK driving licence for at least 2 years.

• Additional identification and proof of address may be required.
   

3. Booking and Payment

• Bookings can be made online, by phone, or in person.

• A valid debit or credit card is required for booking.

• Payment must be made on vehicle collection.

• A security deposit may be required at the time of hire.
   

4. Vehicle Collection and Return

• Vehicles must be collected and returned at the agreed time and location.

• Late returns may incur additional charges.

• Vehicles returned early may not be eligible for partial refunds.

• The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at collection.
   

5. Use of Vehicle

• The vehicle must only be driven by authorised drivers named on the rental agreement.

• Vehicles must not be used:

  • Outside the UK without written permission.

  • For illegal purposes or towing.

  • Under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any impairing substance.

• Smoking and the transport of illegal substances are strictly prohibited.
   

6. Insurance and Liability

• Basic insurance is included with all hires.

• The customer is liable for the insurance excess in the event of damage.

• Optional waivers may be available to reduce excess liability.

• Damage caused through negligence or misuse is the full responsibility of the hirer.
   

7. Breakdowns and Accidents

• In case of breakdown, contact our support line immediately.

• In the event of an accident, notify us and the police (if required) as soon as possible.

• An accident report must be completed upon vehicle return.
   

8. Fines and Charges

• You are responsible for all fines, penalties, tolls, congestion charges, and parking tickets incurred during the rental.

• A cleaning fee may be applied if the vehicle is returned excessively dirty.

• A refuelling charge will apply if the tank is not returned as agreed.
   

9. Cancellations and Refunds

• Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the rental start date may be eligible for a full refund.
   

10. Company Rights

• We reserve the right to cancel a booking at our discretion (e.g., if you fail to meet requirements).

• We may inspect or repossess the vehicle if it is being misused or used illegally.
   

11. Website Use

• All content on our website is the property of Falcon Van Hire and may not be used without permission.

• We strive to keep all information accurate and up to date but do not guarantee website content is error-free.
   

12. Privacy and Data

• Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details on how we collect and use your data.
   

13. Governing Law

• These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled in UK courts.
